Fish Cutlet
Fish Cutlet
Ingredients Needed
Fish - 2 Big Slices (without bones)
Potatoes- 2
Onion - 1
Green Chilles -2
Pepper powder -1 tbspl
Cummin powder - 1tbpsl
Egg -1
Salt/Oil as needed
Step 1
Wash the fish and cook them with tumeric powder, salt and water .Boil the potatoes.
Step 2
Drain the water from fish and shred them.Peel the potatoes.
Cut the onions and the green chillies to very thin slices.
Take a bowl , add the fish and potatoes and smash them well.Add the onion,green chillies , masalas and salt as needed.
Seperate the egg white and keep it in a bowl.
If you dont want to waste the egg yoke add to the fish mixture.
Make small balls of the mixture, coat them with egg white and fry them in oil.
Notes:
The cutlet can be either deep fried or cooked in a pan with less oil.
If you want more crispy cutlet dip them in bread crumbs and fry.

Brocelli with Tuna
This is a very simple and healthy dish which came be made very quickly in 10 mins. I usually use the store bought canned tuna .Right now i dont have a picture
to be posted .This can be served with chappati and rice or even as a snack.This dish can be made with any fish and onion is optional for this dish.
Ingredients Needed
Any Fish ( I use Canned Tuna)
Brocelli - 2 cups (cleaned)
Seasoning
Mustard - 1/2 tbspl
Onion - 1 (optional)
Green Chilles -2
Tumeric - 1/2 tbspl
Pepper powder -1 tbspl
Curry leaves as needed
Salt/Oil as needed
Step 1
Clean the brocelli and steam for 5 mins.
Step 2
Take a pan, dizzle some oil and add the mustard seeds.As the mustard seeds splutter add onion ,green chillies and curry leaves.
Stir for sometime and then add the brocelli ,tumeric powder and salt.
Drain the water from tuna and add them to the pan.Cook for 5 mins and then garnish with pepper powder.

Ingredients Needed
Ricotta cheese - 15oz
Sugar - 1 1/4 cup
Cardamom - 1 tbspl
cashewnet,almonds- as needed
Half and Half Milk - 3 cups
Take a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese with 1/4 cup sugar .Pour into a muffin pan or cake ban and bake them for 35-40 mins.
Take a large pan and boil the half and half milk with sugar till the sugar dissolves well.
For coloring you can either add yellow food color or dissolve some saffron in water and add them,
Add the baked balls into the mik and garnish with pistachoes,cashews and almonds.
Serve hot or chill.
Note:
While baking ensure that the cheese doesnt turn brown.
Let the cheese balls cool well before adding to the milk.

Chicken Curry
This is my first entry for Curry Mela
Ingredients Needed
Meat (Mutton/Chicken) = 250gm
Seasoning
Bay Leaf = 1
Cloves =2
Cardamon =2
Cinnamon stick = 1
Sanuf = 1 tbspl
Red Chillies = 4 (depending on spicy)
Grinding Ingredients
Cocount = 1/4 cup
Onion =2
Corriander powder = 2 tbspl
Sanuf = 1/2 tbspl
Pepper= 1/2 tbspl
Ginger/Garlic paste = 1 tbspl each (fresh is recommended)
Other Ingredients
Tomato =1
Turmeric powder = 1 tbspl
Chilli powder =1 tbspl
Curry leaves/Cilantro for garnishing
Salt /Oil as needed
Step 1
Heat a tawa and pour some oil , fry the onion till it becomes soft (not brown) turn off the heat and add the coconut and stir for sometime.
Blend these along with corriander powder , half a spoon of pepper and sanuf to a nice paste.
Step 2
Take a pressure cooker add oil(as needed), add the seasoning Ingredients and then add the grinded paste.Stir for sometime until the raw smell goes off.
Add the tomato,tumeric powder ,chilli powder and the meat and ofcourse salt :) .Add enough water for the meat to cook.
Garnish with curry leaves and cilantro .A good combination for any indian breakfast and also with Rice.
Note: (Since we grind the onion and do in pressure cooker the cooking time is very less and an easier dish)
